Jupiter in 2022
Opposition date: September 26, 2022
Apparent size at opposition: 49.9"
October 26, 2022
Double satellite followed by double shadow transit on Jupiter this night. Poor conditions
September 25, 2022
Io occulting it's own shadow.
September 17, 2022
GRS in view and Io & Europa.
September 10, 2022
Jupiter is near maximum apparent diameter now, the GRS is well seen with the "chimney" feature appearing open again. Poor seeing for this dataset.
August 30, 2022
Very good seeing conditions for these images, done in collaboration with Mario Atteshlis at his home in Limassol, using his CPC925 and my camera/ADC.
August 23
Some improved seeing for these views. Europa is seen on the disk.
August 16-17
OvalBa and GRS are well seen in these views.
August 1-2, 2022
A nice appearance of the moons Io & Ganymede with Io's shadow also on the disk.
