June 11
One day past opposition, with perhaps the best seeing conditions in months. The GRS with the current disturbances is well seen, as well as Callisto with soe albedo features.
Seeing sample at approx 20:31UT, color corrected in PIPP, playback is 163fps as was the capture.
May 25
A couple short bursts of fair seeing intermixed with long periods of poor, resulted in these views compiled from 4 mins of data centered on 22:12 & 23:12UT. Max altitude for these was 32 degrees.
Seeing sample at approx 23:13UT, color corrected in PIPP, playback is 163fps as was the capture.
May 18
Enduring the low altitude (this image is the lowest I have recorded Jupiter, at 28 degrees for my location). Transparency was variabe due to high cirrus, seeing showed fleeting good moments on screen.
May 11
Finally some better conditions for this set.
April 28
Poor - Fair seeing. GRS is seen rotating into view and OvalBA rotating away.
In the attached example, note the difference in resolved detail between these two consecutive shots. No adjustments in focus, settings or processing between the two, the only variable here is the fluctuating atmosphere.
March 18
Poor seeing with moments of fair.
February 3
Fair to good seeing. GRS and OvalBA are well displayed as is the shadow of Ganymede rotating into view.
